103,000 tons of tomatoes and cucumbers have been harvested in the Lipetsk region since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of the year, 103,000 tons of greenhouse vegetables have been harvested in the Lipetsk region. This is 3600 more than in 2021. Indoor vegetables, which were 165,700 tons last year, will be harvested in August.
According to the regional department of agriculture, most of all this year they harvested tomatoes and cucumbers – 59,900 and 48,500 tons, respectively. Lettuce was harvested 600 tons or 3 million pieces.
The area under greenhouse vegetables in the Lipetsk region has been increased by 10% – now it is 656 hectares.
