Irrigation is done via vertical drip irrigation using an internal wing system that has been extended into ‘Version 3’ of the system now. Height and no of growspaces in each unit is variable. Using the new sprinkler dome lid multiple sprinkler models can be used in a robust way. Ideally the units are chained and connected to a central nutrient reservoir. Units can also be rotated if required. With the new reusable aponix plug pot, that provides an optional metal plant trellis insert, there is also the possibility to grow more varieties including fruiting crops from the 5cm/2″ grow spaces.
