Vladimir Belorustsev from the municipal district named after Lazo is engaged in the cultivation of garden strawberries. In 2023 the farmer received a grant from the state “Agrostartap” in the amount of 25.5 million rubles. The total cost of the investment project aimed at the development of the economy amounted to 36.4 million rubles. A modern greenhouse with an area of one hectare was built with funds allocated from the budget. 55 thousand bushes of garden strawberries of the remontant Cabrillo and Murano varieties have been planted here. They are known for high yields and excellent taste qualities. Berry harvesting in greenhouses continues until October, and today the volume of daily harvest reaches 500 kilograms. This season Vladimir plans to receive about 32 tons of products, exceeding last year’s result by 25 tons.
