According to the Rosenergoatom concern, today the FNPP provides about 50% of the electricity needs of the entire district and about 3/4 of Pevek’s needs for heat.
In the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, three preferential regimes operate simultaneously – the territory of advanced development, the free port of Vladivostok in Pevek and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
