A greenhouse for the cultivation of fruit and berry, as well as decorative coniferous and deciduous plants has been opened in the Kalininsky municipal district. The new nursery was created to ensure import substitution of products previously supplied to Russia from Europe. So far, only the first stage of the enterprise, which occupies about five thousand square meters, has been put into operation. In total, it is planned to erect 10 arched greenhouses on an area of one hectare with the possibility of growing plants in the open ground. Production and warehouse buildings will also be built here, and a collection garden will be laid out. The volume of investments invested in the project reaches 150 million rubles. Its full implementation is expected before 2027. The total capacity of the greenhouse complex will be 15 million plants per year.
