The Russian company Stella is starting construction of a greenhouse complex for the production of flowers and vegetables in the Kaluga region. Investments in this project will amount to about nine billion rubles. Its implementation in the city of Sukhinichi provides for the construction of greenhouses for the cultivation of cut roses, as well as tomatoes, cucumbers and green crops. The company will use the method of low-volume technology using drip irrigation, flow hydroponics and assimilation lighting. It is also planned to organize a seedling department for the production of seedlings. The production of greenhouse crops should be launched by 2028.
