In Chuvashia, greenhouse vegetable growing is developing.
The harvest of greenhouse vegetables exceeds the record volumes of last year by 7.4%, including cucumbers by 11.0%, tomatoes – by 4.2%, eggplants – 1.7 times higher than in 2021. This was reported in a press release published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chuvash Republic.
The main producers of greenhouse vegetables are the Oldeevskaya agricultural firm and the Novocheboksarsky Greenhouse Complex LLC. In addition, the growing interest in the production of greenhouse vegetables is also aroused by beginner farms.
