On behalf of the President of the Republic, the country is working to increase the production of local vegetables. In addition to the task of providing these products to the population, the authorities are also solving the problem of high prices during the off-season. Modern technologies are being actively introduced in Belarusian farms today, including special lamps for additional illumination, unique irrigation systems, and harvesting equipment. The largest volumes of greenhouse vegetables grown so far are tomatoes and cucumbers. But gradually sweet peppers, eggplants, cherry tomatoes, and various types of greens are being introduced into production.
