A large greenhouse production for growing vegetables in the closed ground will be launched by LLC “Engineering and Trading Group” at the Rakitnoye site of the Khabarovsk TOR.
It is planned to grow tomatoes and cucumbers for residents of the Khabarovsk Territory in 12 greenhouses. The indoor vegetable garden will be put into operation gradually until 2026. The first three giant greenhouses will begin work in early 2024. All greenhouses are equipped with year-round heating. The management of heat, light, irrigation and fertilizer dosing will be fully automated. According to the agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, almost 88 million rubles are going to be invested in the construction of the greenhouse complex. According to experts, greenhouses should produce about two tons of vegetables a year. Prices for products are expected to be below the level of what is currently being supplied from neighboring countries. In addition to high-quality and inexpensive local vegetables, the population of the region will receive fifty new jobs due to the opening of the complex.
