How to restore soil in a greenhouse after tomatoes

The expert of the Belnovosti publication Dmitry Bobrovich gave recommendations on how to put the greenhouse land in order after tomatoes.

The expert noted that it is after tomatoes that the greenhouse soil is in dire need of improvement, since plants often get sick in the process of development. Even after removing the crop from the greenhouse, the situation does not change. Pathogens persist in the soil, continuing to wreck even when gardeners plant new tomatoes in the old place.

In order to prevent infections, the owners of the plots in the autumn sow siderates that restore soil fertility, as well as destroy pathogens and feed the earth with useful elements.

In September, it is recommended to plant legumes in the greenhouse, such as, for example, peas. They will actively saturate the damaged earth with nitrogen.

However, the most effective effect on the soil is provided by a mixture of siderates. To do this, oat seeds are taken (50% of the total), and the remaining half is divided between rapeseed, mustard and peas.

This combination will allow you to get the best results in the restoration of the earth. Before planting, it is necessary to clean the greenhouse from any plant residues. It is also necessary to remove the topsoil, pour out the seeds, then sprinkle them with earth and water.

After a month and a half, the green mass can be cultivated into the ground. It will rot and saturate the soil with nutrients, as well as improve it.
