According to forecasts by Andrey Medvedev, Vice-President of the “Greenhouses of Russia” Association, the area of winter greenhouses in the industrial sector will reach 3.35 thousand hectares by the end of 2024. The average yield will be 49.5 kg/m2. Last season, another record was set in Russia: 1.58 million tons of greenhouse vegetables were harvested in the country. A new record is expected this year – 1.66 million tons.
