More than 100 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables have been harvested since the beginning of the year in the Stavropol Territory

Since January 2024, 102 thousand tons of protected soil vegetables have been received in the region, which is 22 percent higher than the previous season. Local farmers harvested 80.9 thousand tons of tomatoes and 20.8 thousand tons of cucumbers. The harvest of green crops, including arugula, mizuna, spinach, corn, chard, tatzoi and oak leaf lettuce, amounted to 265 thousand tons over the same period. This is 16 percent more than the results of 2023. The areas of Stavropol greenhouses are constantly increasing, and today they already occupy 336 hectares of land.
