n the Khabarovsk Territory, they are going to build new greenhouses for seedlings in the Uktursky forestry. A lot has already been cleared for them. Two new facilities will be built as part of the flagship project “Development of the greenhouse economy of the Khabarovsk Territory for the cultivation of seedlings of forest plants.” Installation of the first greenhouse will begin in July 2022.
The authorities plan for 2022-2030 to build 87 new greenhouses with a capacity to grow 17.4 million seedlings with a closed root system. The construction is carried out by autonomous institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Forestry and Timber Processing of the Territory at the expense of their own accumulated financial resources.
