More than 1.5 thousand hectares are allocated in the Stavropol Territory for the cultivation of dill and parsley for seeds. Also, some enterprises are engaged in growing dill on dry greens. This was reported in the regional government.
On behalf of Governor Vladimir Vladimirovich, the region pays special attention to supporting investment projects in the agro-industrial complex. Funds for these purposes are received, including from the regional budget, and the work in this direction is supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol. Thus, greenhouse farms engaged in the production of vegetables of protected soil with the use of additional illumination technology can apply for a new type of state support. In 2022, 20.6 million rubles are provided for these purposes within the framework of the state program of the Stavropol Territory “Development of Agriculture”, three agricultural producers received funds.

The construction and modernization of greenhouse complexes contributes to increasing the competitiveness of Stavropol products and reducing the share of imported vegetables. Today, the production of vitamin greens is dynamically developing in the region.

The main production of green crops is concentrated in Novoselitsky, Blagodarnensky, Grachevsky and Trunovsky districts. Parsley and dill for seeds are grown on an area of 1.5 thousand hectares. This year, the gross harvest of products amounted to more than 711.9 tons.
