Experts from the largest Russian online recruiting platform hh.ru analyzed more than 36,000 vacancies posted by companies in the field of agriculture and found out what specialists the industry needs, how much they are willing to pay, and what benefits employees are entitled to.

Since the beginning of the year, Russian companies associated with the agricultural industry have posted more than 36,000 vacancies on hh.ru. This is 20% more than in 2021. The highest demand for new employees was recorded in Moscow (10% of jobs in the industry), Krasnodar Territory (8%), Voronezh and Rostov Regions (8% and 6% respectively).

Top regions by share of vacancies in Agriculture.png
Most of all, Russian companies, judging by the number of vacancies in the agricultural sector, lack sales managers (6% of vacancies in July), agronomists (4%), drivers (4%), veterinarians, locksmiths, mechanics, accountants, operators production lines, handymen, salespeople (3% of vacancies in each profession), machinists, packers, programmers, buyers, livestock specialists, storekeepers, technologists, economists (2% each).

Now employers from agriculture offer future employees, on average, up to 45 thousand rubles. Moreover, work in a number of professions in agriculture is even more profitable than in the same specialties, but in other industries. So, economists in agriculture are ready to pay up to 50 thousand rubles, and in general, employers offer up to 46 thousand rubles on the labor market. The difference in salaries for design engineers can reach 10 thousand rubles in favor of the agricultural sector, a similar situation is in vacancies for sales managers (the difference is 15 thousand rubles), in vacancies for purchasing managers (up to 25 thousand rubles).

For a long service in agriculture, an additional payment is established – 25% of the fixed payment to the insurance pension. We tell what kind of allowance it is and who can count on it. This is an allowance for non-working pensioners who have worked in the countryside for a long time. The amount of the monthly supplement is 25% of the fixed payment to the insurance pension. The fixed payment itself is regularly increased, so the premium is also growing. From June 1, 2022, it is 1805 rubles 19 kopecks per month.

To receive the allowance, you must apply to the FIU with an application. Previously, the Pension Fund specialists checked the applicant’s compliance with the following conditions:

– Non-working pensioner living in the countryside.

– At least 30 calendar years of work experience in agriculture, moreover, by position and specialty, which give the right to establish an increased amount of a fixed payment to an insurance pension. This list includes more than 500 professions: agronomists, machine operators, beekeepers, etc.

The exception is the period of work in Russia until January 1, 1992 in collective farms, machine and tractor stations, state farms and other agricultural enterprises. It is included in the rural experience without checking the compliance with the profession, specialty or position. In addition, up to six years of service can be credited for periods of caring for a child up to 1.5 years. But only one parent can do this, not both.

A year ago, according to the FIU, about 900,000 people took advantage of this benefit. But from January 1, 2022, on behalf of the President, the circle of recipients of the allowance has been expanded. There is no longer a requirement to live in a rural area. Indeed, often older people move to the city to live with relatives or their settlement is included in the perimeter of a growing city. Previously, in such cases, the pensioner lost the right to a surcharge, now it is preserved. The rest of the conditions for receiving the bonus continue to apply.
