2.7 thousand vegetables are planned to be grown in the unique year-round greenhouse complex of the republic in 2023, the Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with reference to the press service of the Russian government.
This was reported to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during his working trip to the republic.
“It is very important that investors come to this business. Without a doubt, it is necessary to support the development of such infrastructure,” Mikhail Mishustin noted.
Also, the head of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East, Alexei Chekunkov, spoke about projects for the development of agriculture in the Far East, which will help to cope with the problem of rising prices for vegetables. Thus, a program was adopted to support compensation of 20% of subsidies for greenhouse complexes. In addition, a project to create ten new greenhouse complexes will be implemented in the Primorsky Territory, a program of priority areas for the development of the Far Eastern Federal District’s own agricultural products is being developed.
