A modern greenhouse complex for growing vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers) will be created in the village of Smidovich EAO(Jewish Autonomous Region of Russia). The project is being developed by LLC “Dar”. The company has been successfully working in the field of agriculture since 2006 and is engaged in growing vegetables throughout Russia, reports IA EAOmedia with reference to the administration of the Smidovichi district.
The purpose of the project: obtaining high-quality competitive products for sale in the retail chains of the district and the region, import substitution, organization of 321 jobs in the agricultural sector.
The project to create a greenhouse complex is planned to be implemented gradually, over several years. The construction provides for the phased commissioning of two greenhouse complexes with an area of 22 hectares, already this year investors plan to organize the production of vegetables on 11 hectares, and the total area of the greenhouse complex will be 40 hectares.
It is planned to grow vegetables in greenhouses all year round. The harvest of tomatoes and cucumbers, according to the calculations of investors, will amount to 7.5 thousand tons of cucumbers and 5.8 thousand tons of tomatoes per year. The cost of the investment project is 4.4 billion rubles.
