Uzbek media reported that local producers of indoor vegetables had limited access to gas. Deprived of the opportunity to use the usual type of fuel, farmers are forced to burn straw, tires or manure to heat their farms. However, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic denied the existence of any restrictions. Greenhouses in the country can use natural gas provided they are paid on time. At the same time, the authorities allowed a 50% prepayment for gas in October, November and December instead of the full prepayment that was in effect earlier.
