New measures to support greenhouse vegetable growing will appear in the Khabarovsk Territory in 2023. This was announced during the traditional direct line by the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev. In particular, a regional subsidy for energy costs will be introduced.
Also, specifically for the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, on behalf of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, federal support will be introduced for the creation and modernization of greenhouse complexes.
Now in the Khabarovsk Territory, “greenhouses” can already reimburse part of the cost of purchasing equipment – on the initiative of the head of the region, 3.9 million rubles were allocated for this purpose in 2022.
In total, 4 greenhouse complexes with a total area of 10 hectares operate in the Khabarovsk Territory. For 11 months, almost 2.5 thousand tons of vegetables and herbs were produced.
Thus, in the greenhouse complex “JC Evergreen” from this year, varieties of tomatoes unique for the Far Eastern Federal District – “confetto” and “amourin” are grown. Two varieties of zucchini can already be purchased at branded outlets; if successful, they will go on sale to consumers.
Agrocomplex “Vostok” is building an additional greenhouse of 0.5 hectares. Also, a greenhouse of 0.35 hectares will soon appear in the Butkov farm, which specializes in fresh greens.
