If until this year Gaifulla Shafikov started every morning in the summer by opening the door of the greenhouse, now this work is no longer necessary. His son Ramis built a “smart greenhouse”. A device called “heat drive” is installed on the vents on both sides. Now the function of opening and closing windows is performed by this equipment.
“As soon as the temperature starts to rise, the greenhouse gradually opens up. In the evening it begins to close. The whole system is in this. Irrigation is also automated,” says Gaifulla Shafikov.
According to Ramis, he learned all this on the Internet. All the necessary materials were purchased from the online store. Unfortunately, it was not possible to meet the author himself, since at that time he was at work in the city of Yelabuga. However, our film crew contacted him by phone.
“I started gardening about 3-4 years ago. After I managed to graft the trees, I wanted to learn something new. Interested, I study on the Internet. I find useful life hacks. From here I learned a new way of watering. The water from the barrel flows out through the tape. Watering a large area every day is inconvenient,” says Ramis.
The Shafikov family also started growing garden berries. To date, 5 different varieties grow here. The owners of the site were able to taste the first fruits already at the end of May. Some berries reached a weight of 73 grams. From the rest of the harvest, the family made winter preparations.
