Inspectors of the local Rosselkhoznadzor check the products produced in the greenhouses of the region. This summer, cases were recorded when nitrates and pesticides were found in vegetables. It is assumed that the drugs banned in Russia, used by farmers, were imported from China. For example, cucumbers grown in greenhouses in the Yemelyanovsky and Berezovsky districts exceeded the maximum permissible level of nitrate nitrogen. In each such case, the Prosecutor’s office is involved in the consideration of the case.
