C.H.O. Green Development has solidified its first Dutch partnership with Noordhuys through a new five-year contract. This agreement marks a significant milestone for C.H.O., which has previously operated internationally but has now established a footprint in the Netherlands.
Bridging Theory and Practice
C.H.O. Green Development, co-founded by Ardie van Honk, aims to revolutionize learning and operational efficiency in the workplace with their cutting-edge digital solutions. “We are proud that Noordhuys has confidence in the added value of our digital solutions,” says van Honk.
The company’s approach is designed to enhance machine performance and personnel efficiency by integrating continuous, practical learning directly into the shop floor environment. C.H.O. Green Development’s innovative solutions provide learning tools that are accessible in real-time, akin to the experience of using social media platforms like TikTok. This method ensures that employees, including seasonal workers, are well-prepared and swiftly acclimated to their roles. They gain insights into work protocols, safety measures, and operational procedures before they start, thereby improving their speed and effectiveness.
Enhancing Productivity through Digital Solutions
Ardie van Honk explains another key aspect of their approach: “By breaking down machine manuals into small, digestible pieces and translating them into various languages, we can significantly improve machine uptime. This method reduces the dependency on supplier technical support and increases overall operational efficiency.”
In their collaboration with Noordhuys, C.H.O. Green Development will focus on developing a ‘Personal Performance Module’. This module is intended to engage staff and seasonal workers in a dynamic and interactive manner, promoting safety, speed, and quality in greenhouse operations.
Looking Ahead: Opportunities and Global Expansion
Van Honk expresses enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting, “This cooperation brings many opportunities that will contribute to improving the efficiency and productivity in Noordhuys’ greenhouses.” The partnership is expected to deliver substantial benefits, including enhanced operational standards and streamlined training processes.
C.H.O. Green Development’s commitment to advancing individual learning extends beyond the Netherlands. The company is also involved in international projects, such as their initiative in Shangang, China. This project, similar to the Noordhuys partnership, focuses on integrating high-tech solutions into traditional agriculture practices. In China, C.H.O. is working with a joint venture partner to establish and manage a high-tech greenhouse, further demonstrating their global reach and expertise.
