The largest vegetable farm in Anadyr, IP Tyntin, has begun repairing the main greenhouse. The first part of the materials for this has already been delivered by ship to navigation. Workers hired by the entrepreneur have cleared the area and are now assembling the frame. Also, polycarbonate and a lighting system should be delivered to navigation. The entrepreneur plans to open a new greenhouse that will operate all year round in November. “The new greenhouse will be similar to the old one, the same 1800 square meters. The first crop in it will grow only next year. If we receive a state subsidy, we will continue the renovation. We will install drip irrigation and climate control,” Anatoly Tyntin said. Now the farmer has four summer greenhouses that operate from March to October. But this year he does not expect a big harvest from them. According to the grower, the cold spring killed some of the seedlings, and the greens had to be resown three times. By the end of the year, Anatoly Tyntin plans to harvest about 50 tons of cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini and greens. Previously, the entrepreneur received the same amount of vegetables annually from a burned-out greenhouse. According to the district department of agriculture and food, IP Tyntin is a member of the departmental target program “Development of greenhouse vegetable growing.” Within its framework, subsidies are provided for reimbursement of costs for energy resources, for the supply of greenhouse vegetables, for the arrangement and modernization, and strengthening the logistics of greenhouse facilities. In addition, last year the entrepreneur received a grant under the state program “Development of Family Farms” in the amount of 10.4 million rubles from the district and federal budgets. Recall that a fire in the greenhouse facilities of IP Tyntin occurred on the night of March 2-3, due to which the electrical wiring was shorted.
