The CA of Russia has approved the application of LLC TTR Holding (St. Petersburg), which is part of the Rost group of companies, to acquire 100% of the authorized capital of Belgorod-based LLC Greenhouse, the press service of the agency reported.
“According to the service, the deal will not lead to a restriction of competition in the vegetable growing market,” the report says.
The greenhouse complex “Greenhouse”, located in the Stary Oskol urban district of the Belgorod region, has been operating since 2018. The total area of the complex is 25 hectares, of which 20 hectares are greenhouses. The cost of the project amounted to 5.2 billion rubles. The investment loan was provided by Gazprombank. 74.99% of the authorized capital of Greenhouse belongs to Sigma Capital LLC, owned by the general director of this company Arkady Abramovich, follows from the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
GK “Rost” is one of the market leaders in protected ground vegetables in Russia, unites a management company, a trading house, 16 greenhouses and 5 logistics centers. The company is implementing a strategy of maximum proximity of vegetable production to the consumer. The total area of greenhouse plants “Rost” is 443 hectares.
The ultimate beneficiary of the management company Rost Management Company LLC, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, is Sergey Rukin.
In 2021, Rost Group completed the acquisition of the Churilovo agricultural complex in Chelyabinsk, which includes three greenhouse plants with a total capacity of 73.5 thousand tons of vegetables and herbs per year and an area of 65.2 hectares.
