The investor received 70 hectares of land near the Airport site. “As planned, it will be a large plant, which has no analogues in Belarus and the CIS. “The fifth generation is different in that such greenhouses have UltraClima. The principle is that it is a closed greenhouse. The climate control dials up the temperature of comfort for plants – from 21 to 23 degrees – and maintains it all 365 days a year. The enterprise will be built with the latest technology,” Andrei Novik said. Cucumbers will be grown on 20 hectares, the same area will be occupied by tomatoes. It is planned to produce more than 31.7 thousand tons of vegetables per year. They intend to supply them to the domestic market of Belarus and export “The design documentation is being developed now. It is expected that it will pass the state examination by the end of the year, and construction may already begin in January. In addition to greenhouses, the territory will have an administrative building, a heating station, and will also establish a system for the extraction and purification of water. The plant intends to create more than 400 workers places for men and women.The investment project is being implemented in two stages.In general, more than 70 residents work in the FEZ “Brest”, including three new ones registered this year.
