Employees of JSC “Rassvet named after K. P. Orlovsky”, located in the Mogilev region of the Republic of Belarus, were able to harvest vegetables for the first time during the off-season. This became possible thanks to the use of advanced technology for growing crops in closed ground with additional lighting. The experimental harvest amounted to 505 tons of cucumbers, which went on sale from December to March. Today, a new crop is ripening in the greenhouses of the enterprise, which is scheduled to be harvested in two weeks. This year, vegetable growers are aiming to produce at least five thousand tons of cucumbers and tomatoes.
