At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an agreement was signed between the Government of the Tambov Region and the Michurinsky greenhouse complex on the implementation of an investment project in the Michurinsky District for the third stage of construction of facilities for year-round growing vegetables.

The document was signed by the Head of the Tambov region, Maxim Egorov, and the General Director of ROST Management Company LLC, Natalya Loresh.
According to the Government of the Tambov region, the planned investment is 12.5 billion rubles. Rosselkhozbank is the partner of the investment project.

said the Head of the region Maxim Egorov.
Greenhouse plant “Michurinsky” is one of the largest enterprises in Russia for the cultivation of tomatoes, sweet peppers, eggplants, cucumbers. The first greenhouses with a total area of 30 hectares were launched in 2021.
At the beginning of 2023, the area doubled. The total investment in the implementation of two phases of the project amounted to more than 17 billion rubles. In 2022, the company’s tax payments to the regional budget exceeded 53 million rubles. The investment project is being implemented with state support. The company is provided with tax incentives.

After all stages of the Michurinsky greenhouse complex reach their design capacity, the enterprise will become one of the largest modern greenhouse complexes for growing greenhouse vegetables in Russia – the volume of agricultural products produced will reach 42.5 thousand tons of vegetables per year.
