45 thousand tulips and 5 thousand irises have already been grown this year on her farm in the village of Medyagino, Yaroslavl region, entrepreneur Ksenia Kubryakova. And thanks to the federal project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” of the national project “Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives”, the farmer began work in another direction.
Ksenia spent a grant from Agrostartup in the amount of 2.6 million rubles for growing berries in the open field. The funds were spent on the purchase of a modular greenhouse, a mini-tractor, a drip irrigation system and seedlings. In August last year, the farmer planted 0.5 hectares of strawberries, in September – 0.5 hectares of raspberries. The first harvest of berries will ripen by July.
– The Agrostartup grant, which is provided within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurship Initiative”, initiated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, is an excellent support for beginning farmers, which helps them develop their business, – said the Deputy Prime Minister of the region Valery Kholodov. – In 2023, more than 21 million rubles from the federal and regional budgets are provided for these purposes.
Monitoring of the activities of grantees is carried out by the information and consulting service of the agro-industrial complex of the Yaroslavl region. Its specialists provide advice to farmers and ensure that the funds are spent in accordance with the business plan for which they are received.
