In the near future, artificial intelligence will begin to be introduced in greenhouses in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The corresponding project, developed by specialists of Tyumen State University, was named “Northern Oasis”. First, the neural network under the supervision of scientists will be trained in an economy located beyond the Arctic circle. Agronomists will check the correctness of the solutions of the new system and, if necessary, adjust them. The main goal of the project is to make urban farming accessible to areas with a harsh northern climate. Artificial intelligence will tell you when and how to carry out watering, what to fertilize, and identify pests or plant diseases in time.
