In Novorossiysk, the group of companies “Belaya Dacha” began to build an agricultural complex for growing salads in the open and protected ground.
According to the agricultural holding, the volume of investments in the Salads from the Sea project will amount to 1 billion rubles. The plot area is 850 hectares. Now we have begun the construction of the first stage of the project for the cultivation of head lettuces in irrigated open ground and baby salads in tunnel film greenhouses.
The construction of the agricultural complex will begin in the third quarter of this year, and the maximum cultivation capacity will be reached in the second quarter of 2023. The agricultural holding will grow 5,000 tons of lettuce per year. With its launch, it is planned to create 195 new jobs. And tax deductions after reaching full capacity will amount to about 20 million rubles a year, the Belaya Dacha company’s press office told the Kuban 24 Internet portal.
