In the course of further saturation of the Russian market with domestic products of protected soil, the pace of commissioning of new facilities decreased. This shows a comparison with the indicators of previous years, when up to several hundred hectares of production areas were launched annually. But, according to experts, growth will remain stable, and not only due to the introduction of new greenhouses. The systematic modernization of existing farms in the industry also contributes. The construction of modern year-round greenhouse complexes is estimated at an average of 250 million rubles per hectare. According to preliminary estimates, the amount of investments planned for 2024 will amount to about 27 billion rubles.
