The year-round production of vegetables on an area of over 330 hectares is provided by 12 greenhouse plants of the region. The main facilities are concentrated in the Izobilnensky, Kirovsky and Predgorny districts. Since the beginning of 2024, farmers have received 86.8 thousand tons of closed-ground products, which is 14.5% more than in the same period of 2023. The volume of tomatoes grown amounted to 69.4 thousand tons, cucumbers – 17.1 thousand tons.
