For the ecological education of young gardeners, a greenhouse was installed on the territory of a kindergarten in Ust-Omchug. In it, the guys will be engaged in vegetable growing. An interesting and useful innovation appeared thanks to the initiative of the district administration as part of the municipal program “Development of the preschool education system in the Tenkinsky district in 2021-2023,” Kolyma Plus reports. 155 thousand rubles were allocated from the local budget for these purposes.
The land for a small agricultural complex was provided by the Tenkinsky Operational Center, represented by director Dmitry Kolomarenko, and the kindergarten staff assembled and installed it.
“Thanks to the efforts of all interested parties, our preschool children have the opportunity to plant plants together with teachers, take care of them and grow them,” says Tatyana Popova, head of the kindergarten in the village of Ust-Omchug.
The new greenhouse is already up and running. Young agronomists planted zucchini and flowers. Now it’s the turn for beets, herbs and radishes. Lilia Kozlova is going to first class soon and she is also one of the first in line for boarding.
– I already did it in my greenhouse. Mom and I planted onions. I like to grow such plants because they are useful, – said Lilia Kozlova, a pupil of the kindergarten.
Sowing of seeds takes place under the supervision of educators. They help children, give advice and show the correct technology for planting seeds. Marina Krivosheina, an experienced teacher, believes that the children do not need such experience, they simply need it.
– In our conditions, many parents are engaged in greenhouses, vegetable gardens, and also children join this work, appreciate the work of their elders, treat them with respect, – the kindergarten teacher Marina Krivosheina is sure. – Ecological education again helps to teach children to take care of the world around them.
The sowing campaign in the kindergarten greenhouse is over. The first shoots should appear by the end of the month. The guys still have watering, weeding, airing ahead, and as a result – a rich harvest.
