By the end of 2023, 18.4 thousand tons of vegetables and green crops were harvested in greenhouses in the Kemerovo region. This is 5.8% more than in 2022. In particular, the harvest of cucumbers amounted to 13.7 thousand tons, tomatoes – 4.2 thousand tons, lettuce, parsley and dill – 0.5 tons. The use of new varieties and hybrids contributed to the increase in gross production of greenhouse vegetable products. All of them are characterized by higher productivity and resistance to diseases and pests.
