The Nizhegorodsky greenhouse complex promised to reduce the level of artificial lighting in the fourth quarter of 2022. This was reported to NewsNN by representatives of the enterprise.
The organization explained that blackout curtains will be installed within the specified period, which will reduce the amount of lighting coming from the greenhouses.
At the same time, measures will be taken to reduce noise levels. Thus, the plant will install noise-protective casings for generators. Specialists have already begun their installation, the work is planned to be completed in the III quarter of this year.
Representatives of the enterprise reported that more than 180 million rubles would be allocated for all these activities.
Recall that local residents have been complaining about Bor greenhouses for quite a long time. They are not satisfied with the noise, the terrible smell and the bright light coming from the plant.
After the scandals, the company promised to rectify the situation. However, the promises of real action were never followed. As a result, the organization was raided by an audit, during which violations were revealed. It all ended with the fact that the work of the power unit of the plant was frozen for 1.5 months.
