The first greenhouse for growing seedlings with a closed root system
On June 6, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Republic Elena Dymza with specialists from the Ministry of Natural Resources of Chuvashia visited the Algashinsky nursery of the Shumerlinskoye forestry.
The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the completed construction of a greenhouse for growing seedlings with ZKS. The area of the object is 120 sq. To date, more than 32 thousand pine seedlings have sprouted in the greenhouse, which will be used to create forest plantations on the lands of the forest fund of the Chuvash Republic. The advantage of such seedlings is primarily due to their high, almost 100%, survival rate: plants are planted in the ground with a lump of substrate. In addition, seedlings with a closed root system easily tolerate transportation, they grow quickly, they can be planted in open ground throughout almost the entire growing season.
