A greenhouse complex designed for growing 240 thousand tons of vegetables will appear in the Turkestan region of the republic. The total area of the farm will be 500 hectares. The project is being implemented with the participation of the Russian agro-industrial holding “ECO-culture”. At the first stage, by the end of next year, 51 hectares of land with a production volume of 28 thousand tons of tomatoes will be developed. Kazakh vegetable growers plan to supply their products to the domestic market and export them.
