The Ovoshchevod company has completed the first stage of modernization of the technological lighting system of its greenhouses. As part of this project, lamps on an area of more than 4.5 hectares were replaced. In total, the leading Russian vegetable producer is going to replace lighting on an area of 65.4 hectares. The works are planned for the period up to 2026, and according to their results, the yield of greenhouse crops should increase by 28%. By 2027, the company will harvest at least 57 thousand tons of vegetables, despite the fact that in 2022 this figure was only 44.7 thousand tons.
