Outreach receptions of citizens and visits to the agro-industrial complex of the region are held by the head of the agricultural department on a regular basis. Today a working visit was made to the Soviet urban district.
First of all, Minister Sergei Izmalkov met with agricultural producers who applied for an appointment. Topical issues of the industry were raised for discussion, most of which were resolved on the spot, the rest were taken into work.
After that, the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture went to the objects of the agro-industrial complex of the district. He visited CJSC SHP “Caucasus”, where a large-scale investment project for the construction of a greenhouse complex is being implemented. The work is being carried out according to the schedule, it is planned that the facility will reach its design capacity next year. This will make it possible to replace imports with our own production of affordable and environmentally friendly vegetables for the population of the North Caucasus Federal District.
Also, the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, Sergei Izmalkov, personally inspected the condition of the fields in the SPK collective farm-agrofirm “Druzhba”. The sown area for the current year’s harvest in the farm amounted to 9.1 thousand hectares, including more than 7.2 thousand hectares occupied by grain crops.
“The culture of farming in the agricultural enterprise is at a high level, land reclamation works are underway on an area of 310 hectares, which will certainly have a positive effect on the state of crops,” Sergey Izmalkov noted.
The results of the working trip were summed up at a working meeting with representatives of the administration and the agricultural department. The head of the agrarian department of the region outlined a range of priority tasks for the further development of agriculture in the district, the implementation of which was taken under personal control.
