The pace of construction of year-round greenhouses for the production of vegetable and green crops in Russia is gaining momentum. This information was published by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. According to the results of 2024, new facilities with a total area of about 108 hectares are expected to be commissioned in the country. As a result, the volume of agricultural products grown indoors may increase by 20 thousand tons per year. In general, the production of greenhouse vegetables and green crops in Russia has tripled over the past 15 years.
