The harvest of protected soil vegetables in the region since the beginning of 2024 amounted to over 11.8 thousand tons. Saratov greenhouses have harvested more than 11.2 thousand tons of cucumbers and 491 tons of tomatoes during this period. Today, the region is among the top ten Russian regions leading in this area. They also include Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Lipetsk, Moscow, Volgograd, Kaluga, Tyumen, Belgorod and Tambov regions.
