The head of the administration of the Sughd region of Tajikistan, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, received a delegation of businessmen from Uzbekistan, headed by businessman Nazirjon Kadyrov. The parties discussed the vectors of cooperation in the business sphere. This was reported by the press service of the local government.
Kadyrov stressed that the entrepreneurs of the neighboring country will invest one million US dollars in the agricultural sector of the Sughd region. The money will be used to build a modern greenhouse at the Temurjon farm.
Attention was paid to the fact that the business circles of the two sides are mutually beneficially cooperating in various fields, including agriculture, and there is hope that in the future they will implement joint projects.
The head of the region expressed satisfaction with the initiative of the parties and gave recommendations on the implementation of the project. The opinion was expressed that the businessmen of the republics would use the available opportunities for further development of cooperation.
Uzbek entrepreneurs also visited the Khatlon region, where they expressed their readiness to invest in the textile industry.
