He got acquainted with the current situation in the industry during a working trip to Chernyansky district.
Vyacheslav Gladkov visited the fields of the Chance farm in the village of Prilepy. The farm was established in 1999. The main activity is the cultivation of vegetable crops. In August last year, the farm received a grant of almost 29 million rubles under the program “Development of agriculture and fish farming in the Belgorod region.” Thanks to this, the farm is building a greenhouse complex with a total area of 4000 square meters. m. It is planned to purchase and install ventilation equipment, heating systems, water spraying and lighting. Upon reaching the design capacity by 2026, the Shans farm will grow 148.5 tons of vegetables on closed ground.
“We turned to the commission under the regional government, submitted an application and our business plan. We won a grant for the construction of a greenhouse. We hope that by the end of September it will be built. We will grow seedlings and transplant them to new sites,” said Nina Pakhomova, head of the farm.
New greenhouses with a height of 6 meters will allow growing high-yielding varieties of tomatoes. Now KFH is focused on different types of cabbage, grows peppers and some hybrid varieties of tomatoes and cucumbers. The farm does not hide the fact that they want to sell surplus products directly – without resellers.

The governor also visited the vegetable storehouse of the Gorbi-Invest agricultural company. It is located in the village of Upper Kuzkino. In September 2019, the enterprise received a grant in the amount of 29.1 million rubles under the program “Development of agricultural cooperation in the Belgorod region”. In 2021, thanks to the grant funds and its own investments, the company commissioned a vegetable store with an area of 1.4 thousand square meters. m. It holds 2.4 thousand tons of vegetables.
Now stocks of potatoes and onions are stored in warehouses. Belgorod residents come here every day for inexpensive local vegetables. The enterprise is thinking about expanding its own production, and this requires irrigated land.
“I will take this issue into consideration. We are definitely interested in our population being able to buy affordable and high-quality products,” Vyacheslav Gladkov emphasized.
The governor summed up the results of the working trip at a meeting with agricultural producers. Vyacheslav Gladkov during the meeting recalled the existing support measures. For example, in the Belgorod region, you can use a social contract for the development of personal subsidiary plots. There are compensatory and incentive subsidies.

At the meeting, the head of the administration of the Olshansky rural settlement, Svetlana Melnikova, spoke in detail about the work of the social contract in the territory. She stressed that 18 social contracts have been concluded with residents in two years. This year, one person used the funds to develop the production of greenhouse vegetables. The settlement is constantly looking for people to involve personal subsidiary plots in the production of vegetables with the involvement of state support funds.
An example of a successful start is the production of vegetables by Sergey Kosov. Sergei Aleksandrovich presented his work to the governor. Since 2013, he began to grow vegetables in the open field on his personal plot, mainly tomato, pepper and cabbage. Surplus products were sold at the local market.
In 2015, he built two greenhouses; by 2020, the farm already had 11 wooden greenhouses with a total area of 3,080 sq. m, which allowed to observe crop rotation and expand the range of products. Having received a support grant, the novice farmer built four more greenhouses and purchased materials for the heating and lighting system. Production volumes have increased significantly.
“In 2022, I plan to reconstruct and modernize five greenhouses, buy new equipment and receive compensation for expenses incurred in accordance with the procedure for providing subsidies from the regional budget. Thank you for giving us such an opportunity,” Sergey Kosov said.
His future plans include the equipment of a refrigeration room, the purchase of a car with a refrigerator, as well as the expansion of production through the construction of greenhouses and greenhouses.

In 2022, 37 million rubles were allocated to support small businesses in terms of cost recovery. At the same time, Vyacheslav Gladkov called on agricultural producers to discuss additional state support measures:
“In order to grow a lot of vegetables of good quality and at an affordable price, we need to understand what kind of support measures are needed. I heard that there is a need for additional land. With farmers, it is necessary to individually work out each problem in order to at least double the volume of production.”
The head of the region added that for the successful development of agriculture, the problems of farmers should.
