In November, Acting Head of the Tambov Region, Yevgeny Pervyshov, visited the Teplichnoye enterprise in Pritambovye to assess its operational capacity and discuss its future development. Established in 1980, this agricultural powerhouse combines tradition and modernity to maintain its competitive edge, producing flowers and vegetables while implementing advanced agricultural technologies.
Despite its 45-year history, Teplichnoye remains an industry leader by continually modernizing its facilities. In 2022, the company invested 21 million rubles to construct a state-of-the-art tulip greenhouse, highlighting its commitment to innovation. The facility’s first harvest of 500,000 tulips sold out entirely within the Tambov region. By 2024, the enterprise aims to increase production to 700,000 tulips.
Teplichnoye also maximizes land use by cultivating annual flowers, such as marigolds and petunias, during the offseason. However, its primary focus remains vegetable production. With 4.1 hectares dedicated to light culture technology, the enterprise produces 8,000 tons of cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce annually. Distribution channels include company-owned outlets and large retail networks, ensuring widespread access to fresh, locally grown produce.
Sustainability and Innovation in Agriculture
Key to Teplichnoye’s success is its emphasis on sustainability. The enterprise uses bumblebee pollination to enhance crop yields naturally. Its light culture greenhouses, designed to maximize energy efficiency, underscore the commitment to environmentally conscious practices.
In addition to agricultural innovation, Teplichnoye plays a pivotal role in community support. Employees contribute to local humanitarian initiatives, including creating camouflage nets for military operations and supplying packaged vegetables to servicemen.

During his visit, Pervyshov pledged regional support to address labor shortages and strengthen local agricultural expertise.
