In Russia, the incentive to increase the volume of supplies of fresh vegetables and fruits will be expanded. This was announced on September 19 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
“We are also increasing the terms of prolongation of previously granted preferential investment loans for the construction of new greenhouse complexes from 12 to 15 years. Such assistance is in demand in many regions,” Mishustin said.
“We talked about its necessity during recent working trips to the Far East and the Moscow region, including in connection with the disruption of supply chains of necessary machinery and equipment from abroad. We hope that this step will reduce the risks for investors involved in such projects and will allow the country to increase the supply of fresh vegetables and fruits to the domestic market all year round,” he stressed.
