The amount of own planting material will increase in the capital of the Stavropol Territory after the commissioning of a new greenhouse complex. According to the city hall, next year specialists will be able to grow up to 600 thousand flowers at this production base.
According to the administration, work on the arrangement of two new greenhouses has already been completed. In the summer, a metal frame was equipped there and covered with a film, then a drainage system was installed around the perimeter and drainage was built. Specialists also prepared sites for growing seedlings from several layers of screening and soil, on which agro—fabric was laid – a special material that supports conditions that improve plant growth.
Soon, cassettes with peat will be placed on this surface and flowers will be sown there.
According to the head of Stavropol Ivan Ulyanchenko, the new greenhouse complex will allow Gorzelenstroy to double the amount of its own planting material.
