The greenhouse complex in the Ikryaninsky district is 96% ready. It remains only to improve the territory
A greenhouse complex is being completed in the Ikryaninsky district of the Astrakhan region. This became known during the working trip of the Governor of the Astrakhan region to the Ikryaninsky district. Currently, the Cedar greenhouse complex is 96% ready – there is only one thing left to improve the territory. Cucumbers and tomatoes will be grown in the complex all year round.
The complex is divided into 2 greenhouses, their total area is 10 hectares. The complex also has a warehouse, a boiler room and a building for water treatment. Lighting and ventilation systems are installed in the premises. Automation helps to sow seeds, fertilize and water the land.
“Process automation does not exclude the need for human labor. We have vegetable growers, technical and economic departments, a locksmith group, and harvesting is also going on manually,” the head of the enterprise Ruslan Abdukarimov told the Astrakhan governor.
126 people work in the greenhouse complex, in 2023 there will be 230 of them. The salary of employees is 40 thousand rubles.
In December, the first 6 tons of vegetables will be harvested in the greenhouse complex. They want to grow 8 thousand tons of crops a year here.
The products will be delivered to the shelves of Astrakhan stores. The management of the complex has signed a contract for the supply of vegetables to Moscow and the Moscow region.
