A greenhouse for growing green vegetable crops and flowers will appear in the Forest. Now the creation of the complex in the village of Polevoy is completed by 50%. The Left Bank PC intends to launch it into operation during 2023. The corresponding project is published in the catalog of investment proposals of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The greenhouse complex will occupy an area of 3000 “squares”. The implementation of the project is estimated at 11 million rubles. Now the agricultural cooperative “Left Bank” is looking for an investor, because it needs an additional 5 million, the document says.
When the greenhouse is launched, it will provide work for at least 7 people. Power grids are connected to the complex, a water well is equipped near it. There is a motorway 700 metres away.
Recall that now in the urban district of Bora there is a greenhouse complex “Nizhny Novgorod” near the village of Telyatevo. As part of the first stage, an energy center, warehouses, storage and cultivation units, packing and sorting lines, as well as a seedling department were built. 7.5 hectares out of 17.3 hectares of the agricultural complex are functioning, the director of the enterprise Igor Pochechuev said earlier. About 32.5 tons of tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce are produced here per year. The implementation of the project is estimated at about 5.3 billion rubles.
In the future, the Nizhny Novgorod plant was supposed to be expanded by building another greenhouse on an area of 15 hectares next to the existing one. This was announced last summer by the Minister of Agriculture of the Nizhny Novgorod region Nikolay Denisov. However, the authorities have questioned the implementation of the plans due to a decrease in federal support and complaints from residents of Borchan about the bright glow and noise from the plant.
The additional lighting system allows you to grow vegetables all year round, but at the same time is the cause of dissatisfaction of many local residents. In the spring of 2021, Rospotrebnadzor, indeed, recorded an excess of permissible noise and vibration levels from greenhouse equipment. After that, the court partially suspended their work until the elimination of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
