The launch of the fifth stage of the greenhouse complex of Agrokultura Group LLC with a production capacity of 20 hectares took place in the Moscow Region. The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Andrey Razin.
The project, implemented including with the attraction of preferential investment lending, will increase the production of greenhouse vegetables and berries in the region, as well as create 450 modern highly qualified jobs. Last year, the enterprise produced 61.9 thousand tons of vegetables.
As part of a working trip to the region, Andrey Razin also took part in a meeting with the heads of enterprises in the agricultural sector, which was devoted to preparations for seasonal field work and the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Moscow region in the current conditions. The Moscow region is one of the key agricultural regions of the Central Federal District. The subject maintains a positive trend in agricultural production, occupying, in particular, the first place in the district and the fourth place in the country in the production of open ground vegetables. In 2022, an increase in sown area by more than 33 thousand hectares is predicted, which will contribute to an increase in the gross harvest of grains, legumes, oilseeds and fodder crops, as well as potatoes and open ground vegetables.
According to Andrei Razin, at present the main task is to prepare and carry out the sowing campaign in a quality manner, which will make it possible to lay a good foundation for this year’s harvest. At the same time, it is important to provide farmers with affordable working capital. At the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation allocated additional subsidies to support the preferential lending mechanism – this will enable agricultural producers to purchase everything necessary for seasonal field work in a timely manner.
