In Irkutsk Gorzelenkhoz the flower record has been broken. For the first time, the company has grown 28,000 lilies, which will bloom in August and September. Soon 12 varieties will be ready for sale: large, tall, multi-colored lilies Maxima, El Capitan, Angela, Edsilia, Monika, Rafaela, Samuela, as well as terry varieties. This was reported in the press service of the administration of the regional center.
– Last year we started a major modernization of the greenhouse complex. Today, 4 modern greenhouses with an area of 350 m2 each are in operation. It is in the new facilities that we are trying to grow light-loving lilies for the first time, – said the director of the enterprise, Georgy Ni.
By the way, immediately after the “lily season” chrysanthemums will appear. By mid-October, 7 thousand of these flowers of 20 varieties will bloom. In addition, peony bulbs will soon be planted. Bouquets will be made from them next spring.
